Advertisers.io and the SEO Directory Spam Problem
About 3 years ago I built a news board for people in creative agencies called Advertisers.io.
I built a directory for it thinking that would help discovery. I thought it would attract people seeking ad jobs.

It was supposed to be for creative agencies, instead I got a bunch of SEO agencies spamming me. Now I know why.
