@CleanShot has been one of my favorite pieces of software for years. The one-time purchase, plus a year of updates is incredibly customer friendly.I've re-upped several times because it keeps getting better!

Introducing CleanShot 5.0 ✨The new Studio Mode is all you need to turn a simple screen recording into a polished, professional video - with the quality you expect from CleanShot.Available now on all plans. No subscription required.
@krispuckett Subscriptions are annoying. Not even the cost, but remembering to keep up with them.I don't need cloud storage/sharing. Most of my screenshots are trash after I do anything with it.I'd gladly pay one-time and for upgrades—I give @CleanShot $30 every few years.
I think it's telling that Figma is listed last here.Once a prototype that has been validated, the next step is incorporating that design into the code base, not creating design specs. It's process for the sake of process at that point.
Shane Levine@theShaneLevine
People ask me how has AI changed the design process?Just look at @tryramp Product Designer job description
@jayair Honestly, it was surprising to see Figma in here at all. If you were taking a test—which is not like the others—it's Figma at the end, for documentation. Smells a lot like busywork.
Built a little tool for designers—or anyone sick of copying and pasting console logs and errors into Claude Code or Codex. It gives the agent direct access to your browser and dev server so it can check its own work.
How many designers are out there consistently renaming their Sketch/Figma layers? If you are doing this, why?
Personally, I'm a Sketch fan, but this is amazing.
I want to be able to @ myself in @InVisionApp comps so that I get an email as a reminder to update the comp. Please make this happen!
Question for other product design teams—how strict are you about layer/group names? Why?
lol, I stumbled upon an @Adobe @Illustrator tutorial video I did about 9 years ago. It's pretty amazing.
In @Sketch tend to use the ESC to select parent groups and find this a nuisance on the 2019 MBP. Is this something I can remap? If so, what key should I map it to?
So,m I'm not crazy. Text colors in Sketch 59 get slightly lighter every time I edit them. Please patch @sketch. This is an incredibly annoying bug.
This is a really cool tool for designing color schemes—ColorBox by @lyftdesignteam
Native button support in @sketch? Can't wait.

Get ready to supercharge your symbols and create powerful, responsive components. Smart Layout in Sketch 58. Coming to a Canvas near you, next week. 😎
Just in case you missed it—I recently wrote about my favorite time-saving shortcuts in @sketch.
Designers, what are some of your favorite Sketch shortcuts? I'm compiling some of my favorites into this article. solomon.io
This is cool.

This is my new project, Hest.• A drawing tool with visual programming features.
• Everything is both code and data.
• Execution happens in time and space.
• You control time. Here it is doing "shitty math" — where your operators are little boxes. #screenshotsaturday
Wrote about a little trick I use to organize my color palette in Sketch. solomon.io
Our design team recently moved from @Dropbox to @googledrive. Drive seems to be syncing thousands of icons and elements within files individually. Should I be concerned? It has been running for 3 days and is still syncing.
I wish more consumer applications followed @sketch's lead on subscription pricing. People must keep paying for updates and new features, but they can continue using the application.
Sad to see one of the most useful plugins go away. @bohemiancoding please build this into @sketchapp itself.
I just heard a co-worker refer to @Adobe's 4 hotkey save combo as the Save for Web Claw.
When you accidentally sync your worksheet page instead of your prototype page to @InVisionApp.
@RandallAMorris @sketchapp Yeah, I usually stay about one update behind. I updated because I wanted to play around with the cool new stuff. If there isn't a fix by mon or tues I'll probably roll it back.
Lots of cool new stuff in @sketchapp 49, but does it feel slower to anyone?
Does anyone have experiences with this dark theme for @sketchapp? I'm considering purchasing, but am curious about performance. midnightsketch.com
Whoa, batch renaming in @sketchapp is going to make organizing art boards so much easier! rodi01.github.io
It's always interesting going back through old @sketchapp files. For example. I have no idea what this artboard was trying to portray.
I have to admit, @captureonepro has also exceeded my expectations.Would absolutely recommend to anyone trying to leave Adobe.
Started using @PhaseOnePhoto's Capture One Pro for editing. Really happy with it so far—my workflow still needs some improvement though.

Designer friends, what monitors should I be looking at? Curved, Ultra-Wide 5k or a combination? buff.ly
Without Adobe or Affinity tools on the list, the Surface Dial is a novelty.
I hope Apple has an answer today, because the Surface Studio looks like a serious competitor for creative professionals.
Ah yes! Time to flip the coin. Will this Adobe Cloud update speed up or slow down everything?
Another brilliant idea from the team @InVisionApp

I've been using @SlackHQ's post feature for daily tasks and notes. Checkboxes FTW.
This is cool. Like an Alfred for sketch?
I wasn't expecting this many designers to ditch the Magic Mouse. Looks like I'm not alone. buff.ly
This is why I love @sketchapp. What are the chances Adobe apologizes and then works frantically to fix a bug?
I'm amazed it took this long to get vector logo files in one place. buff.ly
It feels like this Sketch file is going to explode at any moment...
Whoa, I know this is mostly UI people, but can't belive the number of designers using Sketch.
Has anyone done ebook layouts in Sketch? For a small book, I really don't want to open InDesign.

Whoa, love the new Affinity design suite icons.
With all the stuff surrounding Adobe's release there are some heated conversations on DN about PS vs Sketch.

Adobe has pulled off something quite profound. They found a way to make their software worse and charge more for it with Creative Cloud.
Whoa, this looks really promising. A browser based editor for building HTML5 animations.

Feels like Adobe broke their products to make more money. CS6 works fine on my computer at home CC at work is terrible.
Continuous deployment and continuous disappointment, or why Adobe's Creative Cloud sucks.

@AlexMPHarper Alex you need to learn photoshop. A lot of graphic design starts by hand. Check deviantart.com for inspiration.
