Charts Are a Distraction in Interfaces
I hate designing things with charts. They could be completely useless and everyone loves it.
They are actually just a distraction from the important things on the page. Charts belong in Analytics or Reporting. That's about it.
Every feature, chart or trinket added to an interface reduces the visibility and value of other items on there.
