I can't stop building Mac apps.
They are much more difficult than web apps, but there's something really satisfying about building little tools for yourself.
Everyone's been criticizing Apple's AI strategy.
After tinkering with what can be done on device — I actually think Apple is winning. No capex on data centers.

@RossFloate @Apple Unfortunately, I want the iMac's real estate for design work. There's no way to do that without handling company files on my personal computer, which I don't want to do.
It has taken a month, but I feel like I'm getting in the swing of working from home. Maybe I'm managing all the impromptu meetings better?
I still wish I was able to use my @Apple iMac as a second monitor though. I don't think I can match my productivity with only a laptop.

How much has macOS Catalina improved in the last month? Should I hold off a bit longer? I'm considering making the upgrade.
It is absolutely the right move, but I can't help but be amused by how prominently Apple features the escape key on their Macbook Pro marketing site.

In @Sketch tend to use the ESC to select parent groups and find this a nuisance on the 2019 MBP. Is this something I can remap? If so, what key should I map it to?
Thinking about dual-booting Windows 10 on my iMac because of the MacOS Catalina update. I'm going to loose access to a bunch of my games. How big should that partition be? 128GB?

@mattro Maybe it's a High Sierra issue? I thought this was how I've done it in the past, but it will only export the screen that is currently visible.
Is there something I'm missing? Is there no way to combine multiple files into a PDF on a Mac without Acrobat?

If there was one USB port, I probably would have purchased. No USB makes using the MBP too much of a burden.
I've decided to punt purchasing a Macbook Pro this year. I would have purchased, if they just updated the specs. Too many slight negatives.

Pretty disappointed with the Apple event yesterday. Removing MagSafe. Touch Bar is useless. Have to buy a bunch of dongles for my monitor...
At first I was relieved to see the standard keyboard, but then I realized it's not for the 15-inch and the specs suck.
All I wanted was a new processor and more ram. Other than that the current MBPs are pretty fire.
Still skeptical about this software-based bar replacing function keys. Seems like solving a problem that doesn't exist.
The 2011-2012 Macbook Air really was incredible. Moving to flash storage made such a performance difference.
@TaulantSulko We'll see what happens at the event today. I'm incredibly underwhelmed with the leaks of the MBP OLED bar.
I hope Apple has an answer today, because the Surface Studio looks like a serious competitor for creative professionals.
